No car needed!
With fast train service from London Waterloo connecting directly to the Wightlink Fastcat at Portsmouth Harbour, upon arrival at Ryde Pierhead you catch the Island line train through to Shanklin and arrive opposite the Park.
Hovercraft also runs a regular service to Ryde Esplanade departing from Southsea [link] where you can connect with the train to take you to Shanklin.
Passengers are also welcome on the car ferries.
